THE STRUCTURE
The structure of “La Limonaia” was originally a farm building adjacent to the main house. It has been completely renovated in 2004 preserving the main house’s architectural features and style of construction. The building was also used as a facility for storing lemon plants in the winter months, which is where the name “La Limonaia” comes from. The new structure is connected to the main house through a bright and elegant annex with large glass windows facing the garden from both sides.
The farm house has 6 double bedrooms and 1 apartment.
All rooms are both comfortable and elegant, with the décor combining old and modern elements in perfect harmony. All have a separate entrance, private bathroom, wooden floors and air conditioning. Additionally, each bedroom has a private outdoor area with a gazebo, lounge chairs and a wooden table with chairs. The two rooms “Le Palme” and “Le Rose” are in the ground floor. In the cellar floor there are three rooms, “L’Olivo”, “La Quercia” and “Il Ciliegio” each of which have a separate entrance through a vast window which encompasses an entire wall and bathes the room in light while simultaneously providing a marvellous view of the garden.
Guests here can enjoy moments of absolute privacy and relax in their rooms or in their private external spaces. However guests are also invited to enjoy common spaces where they can find the same relaxing and welcoming atmosphere that characterizes the entire structure. Guests feel free to explore and live in both the indoor and outdoor areas of the property.
At the country house a breakfast buffet is offered in the wide and bright living room in the cellar with big windows. We serve a traditional Italian breakfast with homemade cakes, pastries and jams. All products are homemade or sourced from local farms (flour, honey, yogurt…). Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00am.
